The short version. Almost all of your ToTa-Ai data lives on your own phone. You can erase it instantly with the in-app Hard reset, or by uninstalling the app. To delete anything we hold off your device — such as an early-access request — email [email protected] and we'll erase it within 30 days.
Does ToTa-Ai have an "account"?
ToTa-Ai does not require you to create a username or password, and it does not store your conversations on our servers. Your conversation memory, contacts, drafts, and settings are kept in a local database on your Android device. In practice, "your account" is the data on your phone — so deleting it is something you can do yourself, immediately, without contacting us.
Option 1 — Erase your on-device data (instant)
This removes everything ToTa-Ai has stored on your phone: conversation history, per-contact memory, saved drafts, and your approved/blocked sender list.
- In-app hard reset. Open ToTa-Ai → Settings → Hard reset. This wipes the app's entire local database. A lighter Reset memory option is also available if you only want to clear stored conversations and contacts.
- Uninstall the app. Removing ToTa-Ai from your phone (Settings → Apps → ToTa-Ai → Uninstall, or long-press the icon → Uninstall) deletes its local database along with it.
- Revoke permissions. You can also turn off Notification access and Contacts at any time in Android Settings; this stops any further reading of WhatsApp notifications.
Option 2 — Request deletion of data we hold
If you sent us an early-access request (for example, your name and email through our form) or contacted us by email, we may hold that information on our side. We may also hold limited, mostly anonymous diagnostic and usage telemetry (such as app version and crash reports). To have this deleted:
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data".
- Tell us the email address or name you used so we can find the right record. (You don't need to give us any new personal details — just enough to match what you already sent.)
We'll confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days. We do not require you to reinstall the app or create an account to make this request.

What we retain, and for how long
After a deletion request we remove your identifiable data. We may keep a minimal record that a deletion was requested and completed, and any information we're legally required to retain (for example, for tax or fraud-prevention obligations), for no longer than the law requires. Aggregated or fully anonymised statistics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
Note that message text drafted through ToTa-Ai is processed by a third-party AI provider at the moment a draft is generated. That provider's retention of transient request data is governed by their own policy; deleting your ToTa-Ai data does not control records held independently by the AI provider you selected.
