It reads the message
ToTa-Ai sees an incoming WhatsApp message through Android notification access — read-only, granted explicitly by you, and revocable any time. It does not use accessibility services and does not log into WhatsApp.

It drafts in your voice
Using per-conversation memory and the way you usually write, ToTa-Ai composes a reply that reads like you — not a stiff corporate template — and gives each draft a confidence read.

It opens the chat
For a one-to-one chat it resolves the contact's number and deep-links the finished draft straight into the right thread. Group chats can't be deep-linked, so the draft is copied to your clipboard and WhatsApp opens.

You read the draft, tweak anything you like, and press send. The final tap is always yours — by design, and because that's what WhatsApp's terms expect.

Plenty of "WhatsApp automation" tools promise to fire off messages on their own. ToTa-Ai deliberately does not — automating sends on personal WhatsApp violates WhatsApp's terms, and we'd rather build something you can use for years than something that gets your number flagged. Is ToTa-Ai a WhatsApp auto-responder?
No. ToTa-Ai drafts a reply and opens the chat with it pre-filled — you read it, edit it if you want, and press send yourself. It never sends a message on its own. Auto-sending on personal WhatsApp breaks WhatsApp's terms, so the product is built around a human send on purpose.
Does it work for WhatsApp Business?
ToTa-Ai works alongside WhatsApp on your Android phone through notification access — it reads incoming message notifications and drafts a reply, then opens the chat for you to send. It is not a WhatsApp Business API integration; it sits next to whichever WhatsApp app you already use.
Will my WhatsApp get banned for using ToTa-Ai?
ToTa-Ai does not automate sending and does not log into WhatsApp or use any unofficial WhatsApp client. It reads notifications, drafts text, and hands the final send back to you — so it stays within how WhatsApp expects a person to use the app.
Where is my data stored?
Your conversation memory and contacts stay in a local database on your device. The only data that ever leaves your phone is the message text sent to a third-party AI provider to generate a draft. Nothing else is uploaded.
